Red Card is a Yemeni play written and directed by Amr Gamal. In this theater production, Khaleej Aden Troupe used an independent scene structure where each scene has its own story and cast, lasting between 12 to 15 minutes. 11 scenes in total were in this production. Each scene tackled a negative phenomenon in the Yemeni society; domestic violence, child labor, fraud, corruption in Judiciary system..etc. Each scene ends with a group of performers dashing in and raising a red card signaling that this practice must come to an end. This play was first performed on November 16, 2010, on the stage of Hurricane cinema in Aden City. The playwrights: Amr Gamal, Yaser A.baki, Adnan Alkhadher and Raed Taha. The play starring: Adnan Alkhadher, Raed Taha, Sali Hamadah, Hesham Hammadi. The play was produced by Khaleej Aden theater troupe.
